One Verb, Two Meanings

  1. Después de to be, un sustantivo identifica al sujeto: “She is a doctor.” Un adjetivo lo describe: “She is tired.”
  2. Usa la idea del signo igual: she = doctor; she = tired. En ambos casos, el verbo inglés sigue siendo is.
