Tips

Two Ways to Show Belonging

  1. El rifle del piloto: owned thing = rifle; owner = pilot. Con ’s, el owner va primero: the pilot’s rifle.
  2. La tapa del contenedor expresa una relación parte–todo: the lid of the container suele ser natural.
  3. Personas/organizaciones favorecen ’s y cosas/ideas muchas veces favorecen of, pero es una tendencia, no una prohibición.
